Mark was probably the first member of your class to die. He was killed January 5, 1979 in a hit and run accident while serving an LDS mission, and he as just two weeks from coming home. His missionary companion stated that that day before he was killed, Mark was teaching him the Davis Dart song as they were out tracting. A week before the accident, they were visiting a family they knew very well, and Mark entertained them by presenting his Bill Cosby humorous reading that he had earned him a superior rating at state competition for Davis High. Mark had so much fun in high school that he would be very anxious to see all his old friends at the reunion, and they would still call each other by their "crazy" names.
