After graduation, Vaughn attended the Steven Hennigar Business College to work towards a degree in Business. In 1977, Vaughn was called to serve a two year mission in Taiwan where he had the privilege of learning the Mandarin, Chinese language. Vaughn continues to look back on his time in Taiwan with great fondness.
He returned home in the Spring of 1979 and continued his education at Weber University. In 1980 he married Laurie Olsen whom he later divorced. Vaughn has 4 great children, Emilee who is 24, married and lives in St. Louis while her husband Mike attends Medical School. They also made Vaughn a grandpa in November of 2005 with the birth of Caleb who is the joy of Vaughn's life. Sheldon is 21 and recently returned home from serving a two year mission in Hartford Connecticut and is currently attending Weber University. Natalie who is 18 and just graduated from Davis High School in June and is planning to attend Weber in the fall. Olivia who is 14 and is going to be entering the 9th grade this fall.
After Vaughn was divorced he spent a lot of time with his kids but also found time to travel to such places as Mongolia, China, Mexico and Canada.
The outdoors has always been a huge part in Vaughn's life and continues to be this day. This includes hunting, fishing, scuba diving and 4 wheeling in Moab, Utah.
Vaughn has worked at Blaine Jensen RV for the past 13 years and also has a cleaning Business of his own.
In December of 2001, Vaughn married the love of his life Judi, who is from Canada.
Vaughn gained three more children, Brandone 24, Jennifer 23 and Jessica 20 and a granddaughter Jacqlynn who is 4. They all reside in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Vaughn still resides in Fruit Heights, Utah where the mountains are his
backyard and where he enjoys time with his family and friends.
