Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe it's been 30 years since we graduated. Here is a little update on what has been going on since 1976.
June 1977 – Married Royal Kennard – DHS class of 74
We have lived in Farmington all of our married life – 29 years – wow!! We currently live in the Ivory development – Fairways of Oakridge – just off the #4 green of Oakridge Country Club. We love it here!
Royal is working with World Financial Group. He is fully licensed with all of the major licenses – home, auto, health, life, mortgages and securities. So if any of you need any help – just give Royal a call.
Since high school, I have had many great experiences. I left DHS – not really wanting a career – but that is the path that I have been on for 30 years. I am lucky to be a mom to 2 wonderful children who are both successful and married. I am “Grandma Suzy” to one cute little 2 year old boy and in February another little one, yet to be determined.
I started my working career in banking – moved on to selling travel – worked in Radio – for David Simmons and now I am back in travel (also for David Simmons) – this is what I really love to do. I am the Director of Black Pearl Luxury Services (the luxury travel division of Morris Murdock Travel). I love to travel and have been to many beautiful places including South Africa, Thailand, Australia and Spain. Please call me if I can assist any of you with any of your travels.
Children:
Staci Kennard Barlow – age 28 – married to Bill Barlow from Bountiful in May of 1999. They have a fabulous little boy – Tyler – who is 2 ˝ (he calls me Suzy) and the love of our life. We are lucky to have them live with us for a while. Bill is a doctor and is finishing up his residency at the Moran Eye Center and will be beginning his private practice in Ophthalmology in 2 years. Staci attended UVSC for 2 years prior to her marriage to Bill and is now a stay-at-home Mom and loves it.
Michael Aaron Kennard - age 25 - served a mission in the New York Utica mission. He married Erika Pruess from Kaysville in June 2004. They are expecting their 1st baby in February and live in North Salt Lake. Michael will graduate from the U of U this spring in Business. Erika is a Pharmacy Tech with IHC and Bowman’s Pharmacy.
We love to travel and most recently the girls and I went to New York City and attended “The View” (daytime talk show) and Oprah was guest on the show. We had a blast!!
