Has it really been thirty years since we walked the halls of dear old Davis? Even harder to believe that we are fast approaching the "golden age" of 50! Remember when the only people we knew in their 50's were our parents?
I'm still working for the Forest Service in Human Resources. After 22 years, I guess it's a career now! In 2001, I accepted a new position as a Human Resources Specialist and made a huge move to Provo, Utah! I was recently selected to become one of five Human Resources Liaisons serving in the Intermountain Region. It's a great opportunity and I look forward to the challenge, but unfortunately I will still be duty located in Provo!
My son Justin graduated from Utah State University with a business degree and is now working in the banking industry. In July 2005, after a long courtship, Justin married Laurel Elbert in a beautiful ceremony at Deer Valley. They settled down in Riverton, Utah with their two dogs and three or four horses. In their spare time they rodeo with Justin competing in the steer-wrestling and Laurel competing in the barrel races. I'm a rodeo groupie!
I currently live in Payson, Utah and share my home with my best pal
"Buddy". He's an adorable little black Dachshund mix who kind of looks
like a miniature of my childhood dog, Tinka. I still mountain bike, hike,
travel a bit, do a little skiing, and practice a lot of yoga.
