Upon graduating from Davis, I attended BYU as a Kimball SCholar. I met my Husband, Dan Lowry, on the International Folk Dance Team. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple in MMay of 1977. I continued to attend school part-time as our family came along. I graduated in May of 1988 nwith a degrewe in Family Finance and Consumer Studies. Dan is a co-owner of Lowry Doors in Orem. We currently live in Midway, Utah where Dan is the Bishop of the 2nd Ward. We have four daughters, two sons, two granddaughters and a grandson due in October.
Some of my involvements since High School include becoming Suzuki flute certified, organizing a 12 person flute chair, working part time as a teller @ Zions Bank, sending3 kids on Missions, marrying off five kids in five years and doing lots of sewing for that.
We have enjoyed traveling as a family to Nauvoo, Washington D.C. and Samoa. Dan and I spent two weeks in Japan picking up our Son and have also scuba diving in the Carribean.
Our goal for the next little while is to get things in order so that when our Youngest son leaves on his Mission in two years, we can serve a Mission also. We have been very blessed with great health and a wonderful family. Life is very good!
