After graduation, I attended BYU for 1 year. I then served a mission in Munich, Germany. Oberammergau was in my mission and though I was in Germany during the performance of the Passion Play in 1980 (once every 10 years), Mrs. Beattie would be horrified to know that I didn’t see it - but mission rules are mission rules.
I graduated from BYU in 1983 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and have enjoyed that profession since. I have worked in factory automation, sonar, flight simulation, precision fluid dispensing and instrumentation - always something new.
I live next door to where I grew up in Farmington with my wife,
Carolyn, and our 4 children. Kristin, Heidi and Stacy are all students
at BYU (home for the summer), and Steven will be a junior at Viewmont
this year. Life is good, being with my family is what I enjoy most.
