Classmates - Alan Winter

After graduation I was called on a Mission to serve in Hawaii. At that time the Hawaii Mission included the entire islands of Micronesia. I served in Guam but served 22 months of my Mission in Pohnape. This experience has been a foundation for the rest of my life. I met and married Susan Frandsen of Sandy. Utah. We have seven wonderful children. Our two oldest are happily married and we have one beautiful granddaughter. We also have living with us the daughter of one on the men I met on my mission. Our second son is serving a mission in Costa Rica and our second daughter is serving a mission in Berlin, Germany. I have been able to serve most of my adult life in the Aaronic Priesthood working with the youth and served as Bishop in Hooper, Utah. We have lived in Hooper for 21 years and love it here. I am a pharmacist and own and operate Terrace Pharmacy located by Ogden Regional Hospital.
